Description
My original hand cut paper collage painting is inspired by a beautiful pot crafted by Phil Rogers from my collection. I arranged poppy seedheads and autumnal foliage, collected whilst out on my rambles, in the pot and began to sketch them. From this sketch, I used the textured papers created after cleaning off my printmaking tools to create this still life collage.
The earthy tones of the foliage and shelf are complimented by the vibrant reds and greens of the rosehips and leaves which, I think, evoke the joyful atmosphere of Autumn.
‘Still Life with Cone’ collage painting has now been skilfully reproduced as an A2 giclee print from the original work.
Each print is made using high quality archival inks and paper to ensure each detail, texture and colour are true to the original.
A wonderful addition to any room in your home.
