The local fields near my cottage came up on the county planning list a few years ago. I felt compelled to record the field and its hay bales for posterity as an original linocut print, just in case the land disappeared under numerous houses, paved driveways and cars.
I’m happy to report that the fields have been saved and we can continue to enjoy this space through the seasons along with the wildlife that benefit from these few acres.
