What is a Jigsaw Linocut?

Jigsaw linocut is a fun and versatile form of linocut printmaking where a lino block is cut into separate pieces, allowing different colours to be printed from the same block.

Instead of creating a separate block for every colour, the lino is carefully divided into sections and assembled like a jigsaw. Each piece can then be inked in a different colour to create a vibrant, multi-coloured print.
