Description
Sea Fayre coastal greeting card – lino print features an original reduction lino print of seagulls, a seaside harbour and colourful rocks.
Send a little seaside atmosphere through the post with Sea Fayre, a greeting card reproduced from my original hand-carved reduction lino print inspired by a visit to the Norfolk coast.
The artwork captures the character of the coast with white seagulls flying above a weathered groynes, their eyes fixed upon a starfish washed up on the rocks and pebbles.
About the artwork
Sea Fayre coastal greeting card is reproduced from my original reduction lino print. Reduction lino printing is a process in which a single lino block is progressively carved away and printed in layers, creating the rich, overlapping colours and distinctive textures seen in the finished artwork.
The original print was created by hand, and this greeting card preserves the character and detail of the artwork in a format that can be shared with someone special.
This coastal art greeting card is ideal for anyone who loves the sea, seaside towns, harbour scenes, birds and colourful contemporary printmaking. It makes a thoughtful birthday card, thank-you card, note card or blank card for a handwritten message.

About the print
Reduction lino printing is a printmaking technique where a single lino block is progressively carved away and printed in layers. Each stage removes more of the block, building up the colours and details of the finished image. This creates the distinctive layered appearance and hand-carved texture visible in Sea Fayre.
